New fsd beta 10.13 update is here

Tesla’s internal testing of the FSD Beta 10.13 patch has apparently been a success, as it’s been reported that some customers have begun seeing it in their vehicles.

The list of changes have been eagerly anticipated, and can include very specific left turn changes, as well as animal detection improvements!

Most of the updates seem to be concerned with lane position, crossing vehicles detection, and pedestrian/animal/parked car detection. It seems as though with this update, FSD-using Tesla’s should just about be highway safe.

On Twitter last week, CEO Elon Musk confirmed that Beta 10.13 is very close to being Beta v11 - all that’s missing is highway incorporation, which certainly explains all the highway-specific portions of 10.13.

It seems Tesla has been creeping the v10 improvements along so well that Beta v11 is almost a formality. But it’ll be good to have all those extra detections active, safer highway driving is a big milestone to hit.
