Tesla Space #53: ⚡ Your Cybercab experience
... and all you need to know about Tesla and Elon-related companies this week.
(yes I took this picture)
Welcome to the Tesla Space newsletter, our 53rd issue.
I’m writing this email to you straight from London today. I flew in to check out the Cybercab (and the London EV Show).
Cybercab seen in real life ✔️
Before I write out impressions of the Cybercab below, here’s a quick reminder if you haven’t opt in to our new Tesla Space merch line and BF discount coming this Friday — comes only to those that opt in with a simple click:

PS! We will send the email and discount only to those that click YES here. If you clicked YES last week, you’re good to go.
Now, I also took a chance to test drive the refreshed Model 3 from Tesla at the London EV Show, and I’ll link to the most important news, but I apologize as the report is not as packed as usual. Back in full force next week!

Your Cybercab Experience
this and all pics below taken by me
So, as you heard the Cybercab is touring some US and European Tesla showrooms right now. In Europe, we’ve got six European cities listed right now — London, Paris, Amsterdam, Oslo, Stockholm, Berlin — on dates between Nov 20th and Dec 31st. (details here)
I took a look at the one in Westfield mall in London yesterday evening. You can see, on my pic above, the showroom has some cybercab styling around it too, special event after all isn’t it.
First of all — that thing is an eye-catcher. I saw people passing by the Tesla store, then doing their ‘wait a minute’ stop & reverse walking thing when they noticed the Cybercab hidden in the back.
Alright, so you walked in the Store

It’s late in the evening so not a lot of people around.
The first striking thing is - it looks even better in real life. Gold paint itself, stunning. The design is sleek, you can see the major focus on aerodynamics right away.
As for the details, I discovered nothing new this time that hasn’t been reported. The thing with the cybercab is, they’ve deleted everything they could, so there aren’t exactly many new details - rather what’s missing.
The showroom model here also had the wider plastic caps for the wheels, rather than painted wheels we saw at the Robotaxi event. See our full Cybercab launch event coverage for all the details if you’ve missed any.
From our other conversations with Tesla UK team members they said they couldn’t allow sitting inside the cybercab just because the queues became too long — people don’t really want to sit in it for just a second… oh well, comfy cybercab seats will have to wait.
Great to see the B-pillar camera is exactly in the position we reported when comparing the test mules and the early cardboard prototype.
Also, notice the lines for aero on the roof
We’ll share more of the video footage I took in our next YT video (wish I could show them videos inside these emails…)
Optimus is also keeping watch.
Lucky for me, I was able to also put a new life hack to the test — if Tesla doesn’t sell merch in the country (Estonia for me), all one needs to do is fly to another country and get some straight from the showroom. That Cybertruck cap fits great, thanks for asking *sips from a Tesla tumbler*. Too bad the small Semi models were damaged and they couldn’t sell them to me…
Anyway, we’ll share more Cybercab looks on it in our next YT video ;)
I also want to give a special shoutout to Tesla in regards to London EV Show. No I’m not biased, I promise! Well maybe a little. But I have reason today:
While a big enough event open to all, it somehow doesn’t have nearly any automakers present, just companies for charging and other related EV industry niches.
So when I saw Tesla’s booth with two cars there I specifically went to them and said thanks for doing this. They showed a Model Y and the refreshed Model 3 to everyone, had at least 5-6 team members around, and we also learned they have some for test drives. Although the steering wheel is on the wrong right side for me and my friend Kalmer, we just had to try driving it.
I can confirm the refreshed M3 seems to have better suspension, I do love the new headlights (way sportier look), less noise inside the cabin, and perhaps an unpopular opinion, but the signal stalks as two buttons on the steering wheel felt natural right away.
what a beaut
Great of Tesla UK putting in the effort where others don’t. That’s how you win.
But while Jaan is out on a trip, the Tesla Space team doesn’t sleep:
